Orbita grew out of the career of Eduardo de Freitas, an educational designer who has worked in English language teaching since 2010. Along the way, Eduardo has been a teacher, a teacher trainer, a materials writer and a graphic designer. The brand serves language schools, teachers and institutions through four pillars that guide its solutions:

• Teach covers English classes;
• Train, training and mentoring programs for teachers and coordinators;
• Create, the production of teaching materials and learning resources;
• Grow, the design and communication strategy that helps schools and ELT professionals build their digital presence.

What connects the four areas is the idea that teaching and communicating are, at heart, design problems. A lesson, a piece of material and a social media campaign start from the same questions: who it is for, what needs to happen and how to tell whether it worked. That is why, at Orbita, the people who think about pedagogy also think about communication, and neither is treated as an afterthought.
